Smallville - Absolute Justice by Geoff Johns

On February 5, 2010 Smallville will air a two-hour episode entitled Absolute Justice. It is written by Geoff Johns and deals with the Justice Society of America. Confirmed to be appearing is Hawkman played Michael Shanks, Doctor Fate played by Brent Stait and Stargirl played by Britt Irvin.

Enemies and Allies, by Kevin J. Anderson, is an alternate universe Batman/Superman story set in the 1950s after they have both recently started their superhero careers. It is a well written story that deals with Lex Luthor, Communists and Batman/Superman finding their place. I don't know if there are plans for KJA to write more in this alternate universe, but I would love to see him expanding this interesting and unique setting.

Devil's Cape by Rob Rogers is a dark superhero story set in the city of Devil's Cape, Louisiana. A city that was originally founded by a pirate in the late 1700s. This fact permiates the city's history and feel. Crime and Corruption are rampant and heroes rare. Some of the major heroes and villains in this book have interesting supernatural feels to their powers and origins. All in all it is an excellent novel, especially considering it is Rob Rogers first novel.

Has anyone in Canada seen The Listener yet? It debuts this coming Thursday in the US (on NBC), but I've seen most of the episodes all ready.

It's good inspiration for a low-level psychic game, as his telepathic powers can be unpredictable at times. While he can read minds, he sometimes only gets images from other's thoughts, which he has to interpret. So...

Primarily, I just got to thinking about who should be the villain for Spider-Man 4.

Right now, I'm thinking that a storyline where he has to save ol' Doc Connors from becoming the Lizard permanently and from being taken down by Kraven the Hunter (redone as a genetically enhanced Russian uber-mensch type) permanently, all the while fighting off the Vulture would be a fun return to classic Spider-Man adventuring style yarns. I'm not really sure how to fit MJ into all that...

The new Eddie Brock. He is thin due to the Cancer he was dieing from when the symbiote left him a few years back now.
He has been cured of the cancer, but left-overs of the symbiote in his system have mutated.
He defeated the new Venom (Scorpion) in his first outing as Anti-Venom (or White Venom).

I bought the HULK Vs DVDs awhile back. Just so you know if case you havent heard of them.

#1 = HULK vs WOLVERINE
This one is pretty good. Very Bloody. Deadpool is a member of the WeaponX team. DP is pretty funny too. I found Deathstrike to be lacking however. 4 out of 5 stars. Steve Blum is voice of Wolverine.

#2 = HULK vs THOR
OMGoodness, this one is beautiful to behold. Loki is downright "evil" in this plot to destroy Thor and Asagrd. The battle...

I'm surprised no one's mentioned this movie by now. I just saw it a few hours ago, and while it wasn't the greatest movie, it had some very cool stuff in there. I loved how they portrayed Telekinesis in the film, and how some powers not normally associated with psychic powers were used (like a sonic scream that caused you to bleed out, killing you if it's not stopped. But the use of TK was one of the better powers showcased in the film. Got me kind of hankering to run a supers...

Marvel is going to be having a miniseries about a character that gets sent to an alternate universe where Apes are the main species and not humans. They are also going to have a bunch of variant covers displaying Marvel characters as Apes. Here is an article on it:
