"Patient Zero" (John Maberry) - new zombie novel. Sort of like Tom Clancy with Zombies. It'd make a good "Conspiracy X" crossover
setting...
When you have to kill the same terrorist twice in one week there's either something wrong with your world or something wrong with your skills... and
there's nothing wrong with Joe Ledger's skills.

Mayberry's "Ghost Road Blues" trilogy was a good zombie/vampire/werewolf series, but VERY long winded. Nearly 1500 pages with
the final world-shaking battle wrapped up in like the last 20 pages.
He's great at writing smart-a$$ characters, and his knowledge of European folklore is extensive. Just took the guy a very long time to get to the point.
"Patient Zero" reads much better and isn't nearly as long winded.
TZ say go read.
