Hey, thanks for the advert KnightKD.

I'm the ZM for this upcoming game and we are still looking for a few more players. I've got six players right now and I'd like between 10 and 15, so lots of room still available.

Hopefully, to entice you a little more, let me tell you a bit about the game. To give a better idea of what the game will be like, picture it as one part Dawn of the Dead/28 days later, one part Stephan King's the Stand, and one part Lost: the tv series.

It started just like any other Saturday. Everyone was going about their daily routines, catching planes, traveling to the beach, working at the 7-11. Suddenly chaos erupted. People started dropping dead but their was no sign of injury. Death seemed to creep all across the United States, from California to Massachusetts, and it struck with out warning or prejudice. Despite this strange epidemic, not all shared the same fate. The survivors may have grieved for the friends and loved ones they lost, but the time of mourning did not last long. Soon, those who seemingly died so unexpectedly began to miraculously return to life. Many were overjoyed by this turn of events, but they're celebration was cut short as the newly recovered tore into their flesh with tooth and nail. The feast had begun.

The dead have risen. God help the living.

Welcome to Deadworlds, a horror survival game! In this RPG, the players will begin as normal, everyday people. You might be a video store clerk, a business executive, a collage student, or a struggling artist. The options are near endless but are only limited by one aspect; you're just a regular person.

Initially, the characters will simply be trying to survive this horrible and devastating epidemic that has occurred, but in time, an underlying plot will slowly unfold which in turn will pose new questions and mysteries.

All mechanical aspects of the game (such as dice rolling) will be handled behind the scenes. This will allow the players to focus on the important parts of the game; story, character interaction, and character development.

I'm looking for 10-15 players. The players will be divided into smaller groups and each group will be situated in completely different locations with their own separate stories. At times, the separate stories and paths of the groups will cross, some might merge, while others might break off on their own. It will be very organic in the way it occurs, but there will always be the underlying plot that progress the main story.

Want to join Deadworlds? Here is what I need from you.

What's your Approx age (Must be at least 18) ?:
How long have you been role playing?:
Why did this game interest you?:
What is your posting frequency?:
Give me a brief of your character concept (remember, your just a normal person):
Please provide me with a writing sample for the following situation: You've just arrived home and find your significant other/roommate/loved one is now a zombie (or turning into a zombie). Expand the situation as much or as little as you like.

ZM Note: When the game initially starts, the outbreak of zombies will not have occurred yet. This will happen within the game. The writing sample will only be used as an example of your writing style and how well you will fit into the game I intend to run. The events that happen in the writing sample will not necessarily happen in the game.
