The other issue is that such Zombies would quickly kill and turn everyone on Earth into more of the same.

Only if *you* allow it to happen. If you want the humans to have a chance, then you have to allow them a chance. If you're saying everyone is doomed, why would someone want to play in such a setting?

No matter how Brilliant ol' Lex would be, it'd still be a foregone conclusion that Earth was doomed.

Then what's the point? Seriously. If Lex is supposed to be mankind's only hope, then make him mankind's only hope.

Hell, back in the Golden Age, there were others who could go toe to toe with Superman; Hourman's miraclo pill put him on an even level with supes for the time his powers were active, and there were plenty others like him.

I'm awaiting Beyond Human to create a team that could actually survive and thrive in the environment.
I'm not certain even the Legendary Hero template in Pulp Zombies could survive...

Maybe you should tone down the zombies then. Why must everyone of them be as powerful as the alien was? I'd make them weaker (thus eliminating the need to come up with higher abilities than what the current crop of aspects allow), which then gives the players a fighting chance. Maybe even make it difficult for them make more like them.

If you make it literally impossible for the players to ever stop them, then they're going to lose interest quickly. without any hope of winning, it's not worth playing (imho).

I'm sorry if this is coming off harsh sounding, but you're backing yourself into a corner needlessly. If you tone it down somewhat, it might be more playable

I just wish Hollywood would really stop looting other stuff. They are the Roman Empire of Film!!- Canadian Pitbull, on Hollywood's obsession with remakes
