AI Companion Program (AICP)
Variable Quality / Power
Prerequisite: Data Jack

Advances in technology have made leaps and bounds, most notably in the realms of Artificial Intelligence. An AICP is an Independent AI that has regular dealings with a Cast Member. It is able to hold conversations, teach or give advice and reference. Some are little better than programmed slaves, while others are more like portable best friends without actual bodies.

Base Cost
Though most companion programs are programmed to sound pleasant and willing to serve they do not actually have emotions (2 points). Those that do have emotions are able to joke or empathize with the character, but can occasionally argue or throw a fit if they aren't treated with the concern warranted a being of feeling (4 points).

Attributes and Skills Costs
AICP's only have Intelligence, Perception and Willpower as available Attributes. They may have any skill that does not primarily require muscle memory (limited as Data Chip). In addition to the base cost as listed above, an AICP costs the sum of its Primary Attributes divided by 6, plus the sum of its Skills divided by 2. All results are round down to the nearest whole number unless your Chronicler determines otherwise.

AICP Partnership
A character may access an AICP exactly the same way that they would access a Data Chip. Any Skills the program has access to are available to the character, as the program is able to give instruction and walk the character through any process covered within the programming.

Sample: Hacking AI (10-point Quality)
Attributes: Intelligence 5, Perception 3, Willpower 4
Skills: Computers 4, Computer Hacking 4, Research/Investigation 4
Cost: 2 (base),
+2 (Attributes),
+6 (Skills)
= 10 points

Thanks go to C.J. Carella and the Abomination Codex, as I based this off of the "Familiar" Supernatural Quality.
More thanks go to Jason Vey and David Carroll for All Tomorrow's Zombies. It was worth the wait.
