ty, I am still new as you can see. Well, upgrading weapons like in Dead Space and Fallout 3 requires a strong base (at least 3 skill levels) in the repair and science skills (Mr. Fix-It and Science if you're unisystem). Also, it probably would not hurt to have levels of super-science, but I'm not sure what the non-cinematic equivalent is. In terms of upgrading a basic pistol, it would start at base 12 bullet, then 14, 16, and ending at 18 or possibly 20 if you've created some modified Magnum that's 18 inches long (Yes, I watch manswers :-p). As for capacity, I've begun writting up Bioshock for unisystem, and they gave a revolver more round capacity by having some auto-loading mechanism attached to the spinning cartridge as well as a stabilizer for it and the advanced hammer. The resulting magnum went from 16 bullet and 6 round cap, to 18 bullet and 24 cap. In all honesty, there is no limit to how much one can custumize a weapon, but the question is "Is it practical?"My memory may be fuzzy, but after beating RE4 3 times, I noticed the Hangun's cap did not expand as much as the max damage did.
