Here's some of the traits characterized by some of the North American Spirit guides.

BEAR

The Bear is found on every continent and comes in many sizes and colors. The Bear is a solitary dweller and master of his domain. The Bear is the embodiment of strength and is fierce to a threat on its lair ot territory. But the mother bear is very protective of her her cubs, teaching us ways to always protect those we love.

COYOTE

Coyotes usually mate for life. Coyotes are also very capable of adapting to almost any environment. The Coyote is a survivor, and a cunning adversary. They are also incredibly protective of their offspring. They are known to have a sharp sense of Hearing & smell. And tend to be quicker than wolves.

EAGLE

The eagle is seen by many cultures as a symbol of courage, vision, strength and endurance. They are known for their superior eyesight, and have an excellent sense of hearing. Eagles are also masters the art of patience. They perfer to strike when the moment is right, not to rush the hunt. They are very alert & observant, and skilled hunters.

FALCON

The Falcon possesses great powers of speed and precision. It's also known for it's beauty, regal stance and aggressiveness. Falcons need freedom and stimulation in their lives. While they are also known to have an impressive eyesight, like Eagles. They also seem to be somewhat impatient in the hunt, often missing their prey on the first pass.

OWL

The owl is a silent flyer, extraordinary vision and incredible hearing. Their large eyes & stout bodies often leads to the preception that they are quite wise and very intelligent. The vision and hearing of Owl is very powerful. They certainly are impressive night time hunters, known for their incredible stealth, and grace.

PUMA / PANTHER

The puma is also known as panther, cougar, or mountain lion. They are powerfully built with sharp claws and large paws. They are also very fast, and quite flexible. They also tend to skilled ambush hunters, and tend to stalk their prey with uncanny stealth & eerie silence. Although the puma is smaller, than lions and tigers, they tend to be more ferocious than either. The puma spirit often represents an amazing combination of power, grace and stealth. They are also very obervant, resourceful, & patience hunters, waiting until the right moment to strike. Female Pumas often make very loving, caring, yet fiercely protective parents.

WOLF

Wolves live in a communal structure like humans. They tend to be the ultimate pack hunters. The Alpha male and female lead a strict social order. With the other members of the pack being the perfect soldiers, selflessly serving for the greater good of the the pack. Wolves have great stamina and strength. As well as incredible senses of smell & hearing, help them track their prey. They are very fast and tireless predators.

WOLVERINE

The wolverine's is known for it's ferocious temperment as well as its tenacity and persistence. Once the wolverine grabs on to something, it digs in with its sharp, long claws and sinks it teeth in and seldom lets go. Wolverines can also be quite cunning, & focused. The wolverine is a loner most of the year. Wolverines are also known to be nature's best survivor, and are quite welling to survive by what ever means it takes to do so. While they often lack the strength, and agility of either Wolves or Pumas - they are still quite capable of holding their own with either, because of their tenacity & persistence.
