Not Even Green Yet
Interesting questions... oh well here goes:-
I run a very Cthulhu / Delta Green game using the ConX2 rules and slowly introducing more "traditional" ConX elements into the mix (Black Book will replace Majestic-12 in the game and the Greys are scheduled to make their first appearance soon). So far they have been a DG monster hunting team that have taken on traditional Cthulhu foes and a few new ones of my own, the games are very investigation orientated with a blast of concentrated violence usually at the climax.
I borrow very freely from all the other Unisystem games; in fact one of my PCs wanted a Buffy type character so I added a Chi abilities from AFMBE EtZ, she ended up at almost twice the points cost as the other PC (a normal human FBI agent, but a much more experienced role player) and they have complimented each other perfectly. Armageddon has been especially useful for the military hardware, high level villains and NPC stats.
Best supplements - all of them? I've used all the sourcebooks for ideas and stats with the Extraterrestrials and Conspiracies used the most.
Next supplements - a book of one page adventure ideas that the DM could expand into full adventures, or a collection of fully stated NPCs to drop into any game.
Other games: Cthulhu, DG, Chill, Dark Conspiracy, World of Darkness, old Challenge magazines for the scenarios.
TV: X-Files, Buffy, The Omega Project (an old UK predecessor to the X-Files).
Honourable mention must go to the Atlantians - I've taken them out of ConX entirely and using them as the behind the scenes puppet masters for my Space 1889 / Steampunk game. The players after a few years worth of games have an idea of who and what they are facing and are not happy at all.... (and the Saurians could be joining them).
