I have run the game using Unisystem.

Elevator Pitch: "Conspiracy X - As Long As There Are People"

In the near future, the world seems to finally have found peace. Previous third world countries are rapidly developing and a new golden age has dawned but all is not well. Humans are a violent species. Now, private wars are fought by private contractors on private battlefields over private resources. The facts are hidden in a sea of misinformation. For those in the know, if they are not literally shooting each other, they are fighting for their ideology in a dirty war of information.

This game was meant to cover a new twist on a hybrid ConX/WC setting. The Cast would approach from within, fighting against "the opposition" on a seemingly mundane front. I like to toss in a hint of supernatural to make the world seem just a bit weirder than it is for us. I don't bother with aliens, though.

I would really like a more detailed equipment list, both for the Cell building and for individual use. I was kind of disappointed in the lack of detail. And, honestly, I would appreciate the psychic powers system redone but that's an issue for another day (also, it's something that I've done already). Beyond that, as a player, I don't know what I'd want. I've played in a friend's ConX game and he used greys but I was not impressed. I think there's... you know, a book with a buttload (yes, that is a technical measure) of sample NPCs. Ideally, an update that uses the Armed Force version of organization membership. I'd also like a complete overhaul of the influence mechanic. Perhaps integrate the influence and the organization membership mechanics, rather than use the fake-skill qualities as they exist now. Ooh, I'd like to see an integrated system of Rituals and Invocations. Actually, I'd like to write that. I've started on something already.

I was big on d20 Modern and Spycraft when I was still into d20 system but I don't actively reference them. I know I definitely use WC and Armageddon.

I draw from X-Files, The International, 24, The Bourne series, Mission Impossible (not as much as I could, but since one of my players seems to believe that's what he's playing, I find myself needing to stay up on that series). I draw inspiration from two good game series: Deus Ex (the first one and Human Revolution) and Metal Gear Solid (a huge amount of inspiration comes from this series, including the mostly mundane with just a touch of strange supernatural but not the oddly convoluted or melodramatic storytelling).

Clarity of purpose. Clarity of conscience.
