It has nothing to do with zombies, but on the subject of classic unisystem like in AFMBE and Terra Primate (ie: the straight out survival horror games of Eden Studios), some posters on rpg.net brought up the idea of an AFMBE/Terra Primate approach on dragons as the boojums in a fan take on the subject given the AFMBE/TP type treatment.
I can definetly see the potential for the idea, as it straight off fosters several different settings in my mind. (btw: what would you call the settings? Just as in AFMBE theyre deadworld and Terra Primate their apeworlds, what would the worlds for this be called? Dragonworld doesn't quite roll of the tongue in the same way. Fireworlds? Reignworlds? None of those quite seem right...)
There could be several different takes on a "realistic medeival Europe gets beseiged by dragons", you could have a modern post apocalypse with dragons ala Reign of Fire, and of course even more contained scenarios (like the town/facility/island isolated deadworld/apeworld scenarios) such as loggers in the rainforest accidentally waking up a bunch of eggs that hatch into hungry hungry wyveryns (faster and smaller than your average dragon! See theres already lots of diversity in the mix creaturewise XD!)
Dragons could range from gigantic epic fantastical Smaug type destroyers of cruel intelligence to fighter plane sized firey wings of destruction like in RoF, to landbound lizardy hatchlings and so on.
