I never knew why, but I have always been attracted to Cybernetic based characters in Comics and rpgs in general.
Comic Book characters I just love for some reason :
ROM Spaceknight
Spaceknights in General
Deathlok 2 (1990s Deathlok)
Sieg (Deathlok 2's first brain in a new cyborg body)
Deaths Head 2 (aka Minion)
Deaths Head 3.0 (aka Uni-Powered cyborg)
Cable (pre-Mutant Powers revealed)
Warlock (aka Dougelock)
Baron Karza of the Micronauts
Cyborg (DC universe)
Cyborg Superman (DC universe)
Those are the ones that spring to mind at first, I'm sure there are alot more If i sat down and thought about it more.
I like to build Cyborg Characters too modeled after these guys. Specially Deathlok, Deaths Head, Cyborg and ROM/Karza.
I like the backgrounds of How these characters become Cyborgs and how they deal with only part Human. Their personalities differ one from the other ranging from KNIGHT-ish to normal people to Villians to the Alien.
Could you guys deal with being like a Comic Book Cyborg ??
I could. I see myself behaving like ROM to Deathlok 2 easily. Good person now in a War machine. Trying to do the right thing with the abilities. It has been so long I do not remember how the comic Cyborg behaved. I can remember the Cartoon Cyborg which I love though.
