Posts: 3434 (05/27/08 19:49:20) Zombielord Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : buffy, smg, eliza, faith Maxim Magazine recently released their Top 100 Hotties for 2008. No surprise since they do it every year about this time- for about a decade. While some of you might remember the girls of BtVS & Angel featured very regularly on this list from the late 1990's to about 2003/2004. But the past couple of years have been fairly dry for the Buffy/Angel alums. Not so for 2008. At Number 5 - Buffy - Sarah Michelle Gellar At Number 38 - Faith - Eliza Dushku. Not as much visability as before. 2. The girls are all getting "older". Ok a world that thinks of Allyson Hannigan or Charisma Carpenter as "old" is a very screwed up world, but yeah that is the one we live in. Now there is no justice when trailer park reject Britney Spears (who used to be hot) is ranked higher than Eliza Dushku. As for the reason Sarah was ranked 5th on this years list is kind of two fold - 1st for playing a porn star in "Southland Tales", and 2nd for Dec. 2007 Maxim photoshoot - where she was named the Woman of 2008. So naturally Maxim couldn't have their "Woman of the Year" be out side their top 10. And for those who may have seen that photoshoot - those are some pretty hot photos of Sarah. Also IIRC the Dec. 07 issue of Maxim was one of the best sell issues for the whole year. While it's true that in the past 10 years Sarah's attractiveness had fluxated a bit. During the 7 seasons of Buffy - her most attractive seasons - was the 1st-3rd, and her least attractive were seasons 5-6 (IMO). But after seeing the various photoshoots that she's done in the past year - I would have to agree that she rightful deserves the a top 10 ranking - as (IMO) her over attractiveness easily matchs that Seasons 2 or 3 of Buffy. Also I tend to agree that Eliza is definitely hotter than the likes of Britney Spears(who IMO shouldn't have even made the list). While at the same time - I tend to think Eliza should regularly be in the top 20, Also I think Michelle Trachtenberg should have been on the list - after all she's certainly HOT enough, and visible enough. I know she hasn't been on Maxim's or FHM's top 100 list in about 4-5 years. But the Hayday for the Buffy/Angel Girls on those lists was basically from 1998-2003. What makes - the 2008 list so special - is that it's the 1st time in about 4 years that you have more than one Buffy/Angel Gal on the list.

Personally - I tend to agree with TommyTNM. Sarah very hot. in fact Sarah the main reason - I became a diehard Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan. While the Hotness of some other Buffy gals such as Charisma & Eliza seems to be Directly tied to their physical beauty.
