This is one of my favorite episodes, but I never realized before how much more fun it is when you have a room full of people singing along and throw in some
Rocky Horror style bits along the way. Good times

It was pretty funny.
For instance, during dawn's lament everybody answered each of Dawn's questions with a loud "No!" And during Tara's song, everybody had these party-poppers that we made go off during the climax (ahem) of her song. After all that, we watched Tabula Rasa and agreed that while we all loved Buffy and Whedon is a darn good writer, the loanshark demon was the dumbest thing ever.

I quite liked the demon loan shark idea, but the shark thing was just dumb i thought.

Yeah - I have to agree - I didn't mind the demon loan shark idea. But actually have it being a demon shark - was a bit lame, and cheesy - IMO.

Still a good episode over-all though. "Randy Giles?? Why not just call me Horny Giles or Desperate for a shag Giles?! I knew there was a reason i hated
you". This episode and Once more with Feeling were awesome. The only other good thing was the Nerd Herd IMO.

Yeah - Tabula Rasa was over all one fo the Better episodes of season 6 - along with "Once More with Feeling".
But then overall Season 6 was the crappiest season - IMO. |

For me season 4 and season 5 were equally lame, A robot/demon thingy and a super god that she can't even hurt even though she is supposed to be the all
powerful protector of earth. Those 2 seasons for me felt really boring and Riley just made it worse, i didn't like him - or the iniative, i thought the
idea of the government knowing took away from the feel of it all. I didn't like season 7 that much but the final battle was pretty cool.

I guess this is where we have to disagree.
I actually thought Season 4 & 5 were ok. I loved the idea of the Government/Initiative knowing about the supernatural world - but that they didn't fully understand it. And I like the Idea of both Adam & Glory. Btw- Buffy isn't suppose to be "All Powerful" or the "Protector of Earth". So naturally she needs to face foes that she can't defeat with some major help from her friends. |

Blimey, you are the first person i have ever heard (read?) who liked season's 4 and 5, me and all my friends dont like them and at my games club a few people also don't. I just really felt like the government knowing took away from the feel and made it a lot weirder. Yeah with Buffy i was just emphasizing that she is supposed to be pretty powerful and the idea of Glory was a bit pointless to me as she is invincible, i do like how Buffy didn't kill her though and then Giles actually ended up doing it. Adam was just a really weird fight that made it seem too easy. They used the spell to make Buffy be all of them and once and stopped the bullets and a grenade, and it felt a little bit non-Buffy for me, all of that is IMO though. Actually - I thought Buffy's final Battle against Adam - was absolutely priceless.
How do stop a Demonic Franken-Borg, who wants to create his own race of Cyber-Franken-demons. How about have the Scoobies & the Slayer become a virtually unstoppable unifying Force. |

When I first saw "Primeval" - I nearly had a nerd -gasm. Plus my first thought was - so That's what a Slayer is capable of - no wonder demons, vampires & the forces of Darkness - Fear Her. The Episode also give me ideas of just how potentially powerful a Slayer could become. |
