Destiny's Calling: A Ravenwood Chronicle Episode 8: "Hallow Moon Festivities" Summary Airdate: 11-02-08 Director: Rick McCandless Cast and Players: Ethan Crane (Ron McNiel), Angelica Cassius (Kati McNiel), Marc Greyson (James Greenway), Eric Raven (Lewis Walker), Danté Sylvan-Jarrel (Ron McNiel), Benjamin Frost (Rick McCandless), Jason Knight (Lenny Medina) and Jacquelyn Matthews (Cheryl Medina) The show opens in mid-morning, the actual day before the Hallow Moon Festival. The group leave the Glade at Silverwood Lake. Dante is really suspicious of the priest and thinks maybe he's the one responsible for the death and kidnaping of Elizabeth, at least that is what he's thinking. He begins to make another comment when his cell phone rings. He pulls it out and takes a look at the number calling. He looks up and tells the group he's got to take the call. They leave him to his call. A few moments pass and he rejoins the group telling him that it's his boss from the shop and he needs his help on some inventory that came in. So he tells the group to keep him informed. He tells the group he's got get back to his bike. This is what prompts the group to pile back up into the van and take off. The van leaves, Sarah can be seen looking out the back window as they leave the area. The group heads back to Angelica's dorm room.
Once they arrive back at the dorm the group depart after they make an agreement to meet at Kip's the next day for the festival around 2:30 p.m. That's when Jacquelyn notices the reporter David Johnson sitting in his car taking pictures of the group, she gets up set and tells everyone that she is going to the Campus Police to report him. When Sarah realizes what Jacquelyn says she says she has to go very anxiously. Ben tells the group that he has a few more papers to write for school and so he leaves and heads back to his house for a fun full day of academic fun. Marc heads back to his place for more fun filled internet surfing but is thinking of hanging out with some of his racer friends. Jason leaves and heads to his Sensei's shop/ dojo for training. Ethan heads to the student union building for food. Angelica calls up her dad and plans to meet with him to spend the afternoon together. Eric says that he has some song writing to do so he leaves and heads back to his new apartment.
Jacquelyn immediately goes and reports the reporter harassment to the campus police. They tell her that they will check into it and make sure that he is not violating somebody. Jason finishes his training and goes and cleans up making plans to meet with Jacquelyn and act as a aid to her while she 's talking with the campus police. Moments pass after Jason meets up with Jacquelyn and the two decide to leave and have lunch together. When they are leaving, Jacquelyn begins to look around and see if David Johnson is taking snap shots of them. When she does this she sees Elizabeth standing outside of Angelica's dorm. She tells Jason but he doesn't see anyone there. Puzzled, Jacquelyn decides to go up to her, but she turns and walks away. Jacquelyn begins to jog slowly to catch up with her. Jason is left scratching his head until he runs and catches up with Jacquelyn. Elizabeth leads them to the laundry room. When they get to the laundry room, they loose Elizabeth, but see two girls washing clothes look up at them. Jason is trying to figure out what Jacquelyn is up to when he decides to call Ethan and tell him about it.
Back at his apartment, Eric is writing music and playing his guitar while he is thinking back on Violet and Victoria. His song becomes very haunting in sound, very similar to Victoria's songs as a tear rolls down his cheek and hits the ground below.
Marc finishes his searching for awhile and decides he needs to get in contact with his racing buddies. He heads to their shop where he sees several of his friend's cars. He goes in and begins to talk with them about the next race. During their conversation, one of his friends brings up Angelica and asks him if she was a real witch, Marc stunned arches his eyebrow and tells them she's not. His friends then pull out a news paper with a article in it that reads "Suspected Witch Attends UMR" (University of Massachusetts-Ravenwood). Marc gets pissed off and says "That reporter is a Dag Gum Dirt Bag!" His friends then bring up how weird his other friends are, Marc shakes his head and begins to talk about the races again by asking where the next one is. His friends tell him that they are laying low because of the wreck (Few weeks ago; first Episode). Marc brings up maybe racing near Silverwood Lake, his friends say no because of all the "strangeness" that happens near there. Marc spends the day there until he goes to the Hole later that night.
Ethan is at the student union building eating when his phone rings. He looks at it and answers it. Its Jason telling him about Jacquelyn's supposed sighting of Elizabeth. He laughs and tells him "there's no way that's possible, she's dead." Jason tells him to come to Angelica's dorm room's laundry room. He finishes eating and throws his trash away and heads there. There Jason is staring at the two girls doing their laundry trying to figure out what Jacquelyn was talking about. Jacquelyn smacks him in the back of the head for staring. Jason turns and looks at her saying "What? And what the heck with the slapping?" Jacquelyn smile and says "your eyes needed to be adjusted." There is silence until Ethan arrives.
Jacquelyn tells Ethan about what she saw and Ethan tries to debunk it by making up some possible solutions. Ethan takes charge and approaches the two girls doing laundry and introduces himself as Ethan and in turn they tell him their names are Tiffany and Kim. He tells them that he's spearheading a new neighborhood crime watch just to talk to them a few minutes more. He gives then his number just incase they may need assistance later. They giggle and the three of them (Jason, Jackie and Ethan) leave the laundry room. Ethan heads to his dorm room to make a phone call.
Angelica heads to her father's house in Marblehead, MA. It takes her about 45 minutes to get there from Ravenwood. When she arrives, after she sees her father he asks her what's going on as he lays a news paper on his desk with the article reading "Suspected Witch Attends UMR," which talks about Angelica being a witch and even has some pictures of her and her friends. She plays the innocent victim and tells her dad she doesn't know what the article is all about, but tells him about her friend Elizabeth getting killed and she fills the reporter is trying to get her killed, too. He's furious and tells her that he will call their family lawyer and get the reporter to retract everything he stated and printed. She shows a sign of relief. He tells her she can stay at his house for awhile if she needs to, or at least until everything settles down. She thanks him and tells him she has to go get clothes and let her friends know. He tells her ok. She goes upstairs to her former room and prepares it for her stay. She lays down on the bed and gazes out the window when she sees David Johnson outside snapping shots of her dad's house. She runs downstairs and tells her dad that the reporter followed her. Her dad calls the police and they come and David Johnson moves on, away from the house. After an hour she heads back to Ravenwood to get her stuff and goes to the local costume shop called "Costumes Are Us" to get a red-headed wig for the festival.
Ethan also decides to head to the costume shop to purchase his pilgrim costume. He runs into Angelica there. He walks up to her and asks if she got her witch costume for the festival. She looks at him with evil eyes and tells him "Yeah, like that wouldn't add to the whole Angelica's a Witch theory!" He laughs and tells her he understands then begins to tell her to get a pair of gogo boots and a green mini-skirt dress to go with the red wig and she punches him in the arm. He rubs his arm and tells her he was only kidding. She apologizes and tells him she's a bit on edge because the reporter followed her to her father's house in Marblehead. Ethan tells her he's sorry and then tells her that Jacquelyn believes she's seeing ghost. She arches her eyebrows and makes the comment "As if this day couldn't get any weirder..." The two finish up and pay for their costumes. On his way out, Ethan calls Daphne and asks if she wants to go to the Hole tonight. She says yes and he heads back to his dorm to prepare for his date.
Meanwhile, Jason goes to the student gym on campus to get in a few reps. He continues to workout when he sees his rival Mike Hoft enter the gym. Jason gets frustrated and continues to lift the weights with a little tension. Mike notices Jason and cracks a smile at him just to add to the already intensified look on Jason's face. Jason rushes through his workout to avoid any upcoming conflict before the big tournament. He hits the showers and heads back to his dorm room to blow off some steam. He makes plans to go to the Hole later that night and visit Jacquelyn while she is working. The rest of the day is rather uneventful for group of college misfits.
Night falls and everyone who is anyone shows up at the Hole. Ethan goes by and picks up Daphne and heads to the Hole. Jason shows up and immediately looks for Jacquelyn. He catches a glimpse of her waiting on a couple, he keeps watching and realizes that the couple was Ethan and Daphne. Jason gives Dante a call to see if he was going to show up, too. Dante tells him that he is pulling a double to get more cash to make some payments on his passed do storage units. Jason understands and the two hang up the phone. Eric shows up and goes to sit at a table by himself when he sees Ethan waving him over to their table. He gets up and goes and sits with the two. Marc shows up and heads over to the group and joins them in conversation. Angelica is the last one to show up at the Hole. She goes over and sits with the group and just sits there watching everyone in the room rather quietly. Ethan and Daphne keep making goo goo eyes at each other which sickens Angelica with all of their puppy love. Ethan catching hints that the group are all a little depressed and makes the suggestion to head to Silverwood beach and get a bonfire started, just like the good ole' days. Jacquelyn gets off work and goes with them.
Marc and Jason stop by the store to pick up some beer, chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers. They arrive at the beach and find the perfect spot for the bonfire. Marc and Jason find several branches of wood laying around the edge of the beach. Angelica uses her lighter to light the bonfire. Marc opens their cooler and hands everyone a beer. They make a toast to their friendships and take a drink. They continue to drink, laugh and talk about everything. (Think That 70s Show) The conversation continues to flow when they hear a loud Howl coming from the outlying woods. This startles everyone and Daphne says she has to go to the little girl's room. Angelica and Jacquelyn asks if she wants them to go with her and she tells them no she'll be fine.
Daphne reaches the woods and moves into them deeper. Angelica gets suspicious and decides to slip off while everyone else is having a good time. Angelica watches from the distance when she sees a huge wolf running through the woods, this startles her. She continues to watch from a distance. She sees the wolf approach Daphne and watches Daphne begin to talk to it. It looks like she convinces to leave. Angelica sneaks back to the bonfire.
When she arrives she seems hysterical and tells the group that she has to go and has to head back to her dad's place before it gets to late. Marc offers her a ride and she accepts the two are walking away when Daphne gets back. She asks the group where Angelica and Marc is going. They tell her that Angelica has to get home. When they get to Marc's car Angelica tells him what she saw Daphne doing in the woods. This makes Marc think about everything that has happened over the pass several weeks. The two sit there for the rest of the night waiting for everyone to finish the night. The night ends.
The next day, the actual day of the Festival. Marc hasn't been sleeping to much lately since the disappearance of Sarah's friend, Lynette. He's been searching information all over the internet on this Nathaniel Hayes and the churches responsible for or involved with the witch trials. His search finally leads him to a Tobias Daniels. Daniels is the man responsible for trying Nathaniel for witchcraft. He spends most of the morning searching the internet on various pieces of information. (Obsessed much? lol)
Ben gets up early so that he can try and finish off his make-up school work before the night's festivities begin.
Its mid morning when Angelica gives Sarah a call asking if she has heard anything from Lynette. Sarah tells she hasn't and is extremely worried about her warning Angelica that she may go to the Police and report her missing, Angelica agrees that it may be a good thing to talk to them and the two hang up. She tells her dad about Lynette and how she's been missing for several days and he tells her she should report her to the police. Angelica decides to call Sarah one last time asking her to try and call Lynette again, she agrees and they hang up. Angelica then prepares for her day.
Jason gets up early and decides to go for a run. He gets information about an upcoming tournament and wants to train for the next two weeks for it. His morning is made up of training. He stops by his Sensei's shop to speak with him and gain some pep talks. Jason's morning and day is pretty much uneventful, for now. When he's done with his training he gets ready for the Festival. The day is spent preparing for the festival.
Dante gets a mysterious phone call when he gets up, but doesn't get to it before it goes to voicemail. He calls up his voicemail which reveals that Sarah called him asking him if he could meet her at her house. She continues on telling him she has information on Father McMurtry. He calls her back and she gives him her address and he goes over to her house.
Its about 3:00 p.m. when everyone meets up at Kip's. They are all decked out in their costumes when they arrive. Jacquelyn shows up as a red devil girl with horns, tail and a long flowing cape. Jason shows up dressed as Captain Kronos the Vampire Hunter. Ben arrives in his wheel chair with a cardboard car cut out of Lightning McQueen from Cars around his chair. Eric shows up dressed as the Lone Ranger. Marc arrives dressed as Van Helsing, the Hugh Jackman version. Ethan shows up as a Pilgrim with several grocery bags full of Pilgrim's Pride chicken legs. The group laughs at him and says they'll drop the chicken of at the children's goodwill bank. Angelica is the last one to show decked out in fancy clothes with her new red hair wig. The group spend the next couple of hours talking about the new events that are going to be at the festival.
When it gets closer to the time to go the group begin walking over to Main street where the whole road has been closed down and set up with barricades and different make-shift shops. They stop and drop off all of the chicken Ethan brought and continue onward to the festival.
As they arrive they look at the crowd and all of the different costumes that have been selected to wear. The group is excited and look forward to take time off of all the unusual events of the past weeks. They continue walking down the road Jacquelyn stops and looks over to an alleyway. The group continue to walk on except Jason who stops and watches her. That's when Daniel, Ben's cousin walks up and begins to say harsh things to Ben and his costume. Ben looks up with a smile and replies "Wow, Daniel, nice costume, you look like a dick, oh wait that's no costume that's really you!" Daniel mouths off furiously at Ben when Jason and Marc move closer to back Ben just incase Daniel tried anything. Daniel smirks and walks off. During the exchange of harsh words Jacquelyn sees what she believes to be Elizabeth beckoning her. She shakes her head and rubs her eyes but she's still standing there beckoning. Jacquelyn begins to walk over to her and she turns and walks away. Jacquelyn jogs to catch up. Jason gets everyone's attention and tells them Jacquelyn is seeing Elizabeth again and she is following her. So the group decide to follow on behind her.
She sees Elizabeth go up to the abandoned Old Dominion Church and disappears around the back of it. She continues to follow her when everyone hears screaming coming from inside of the church. The group takes of running except Ben who is slowly following behind in his Lightning McQueen motorized wheelchair. The group goes up to the doors and notices that they are bolted locked again so Jacquelyn tells them to move around to the back, cause that's where she saw Elizabeth go. They move around back and see the doors slightly opened. Eric moves up to the door and begins to peek in, but he can't really see anything so he slowly opens the door and everyone sneaks in. While they are doing this they can hear voices echoing from inside, one professing he's the purifier sent by God to purge the demon witch out of the girl. The other voice is a scared female's yelling "Leave Me Alone, you Psycho!" They get into the inner sanctum and see candles lit everywhere, they also see a gas grill on fire with a branding rod sticking out of it. A man can be seen in robes holding a book yelling and pointing at a female form strapped to a giant stake with logs all around the bottom. Ethan ducks down behind some of the old pews with his cell phone in hand waiting to dial 911 if needed.
Outside, Angelica realizes that Ben is way behind everyone so she turns to head back and get him. From the distance she can see a female form talking to Ben and he is slowly backing the wheelchair up. Angelica takes off running towards them when she sees her pull something out of her pocket. Upon her arrival the girl launches taser wires at him hitting the cardboard catching it on fire. Ben jerks the cardboard costume off of him. He realizes just as Angelica approaches that the girl is none other than Sarah. Angelica does a jump front kick hitting her in the face. She gets up and the cat fight begins. Angelica looks like a fine trained soldier when she takes her out. After the fight Angelica calls 911 for this emergency. Ben is slightly depressed at his costume being ruined, not really.
Back inside the church, the group is hiding and looking around for make-shift weapons. The robed man reaches into the grill and pulls out the branding iron. On the end of the iron is a cross and is fixing to put it on the girl's face.
While this happens, Jason, Marc, Eric and Jacquelyn prepare for an attack. Eric is the first one to attack as he shoulder tackles the robed man causing him to spin around with his hood dropping revealing who he is. To the group's shock the man in the robes is the reporter David Johnson! Marc attacks but misses due to Eric knocking the guy off balance. Ethan ducks down under the pews and watches from below and dials 911 and tells them what's going on. Jacquelyn hits him in the head with a 2x4 knocking him back as Jason foot sweeps him. The guy stumbles, but regains his footing yelling at the group for their interference. He goes to attack Jacquelyn but is hit in the back with the branding iron by Eric, burning his robe and clothes to his skin. Jason turn kicks him knocking him back onto the fire generated from the gas grill. He catches on fire and Ethan jumps up and rips Jason's cape off and puts the man out. Eric goes over to the girl and says he's here to free her. (Kinda weird seeing him in a mask dressed as the Lone Ranger doing all of this, Good Times, I love the Lone Ranger.) He asks her if her name is Lynette and she says "yes." He continues telling her that Sarah was worried about her, that is when she tells him that Sarah sent her here. He says "I should have known."
The group feels like they were had by Sarah. The cops show up and arrest Sarah and put her in the back of the police cruiser. The paramedics tend to David Johnson, who will be arrested after he is healed or almost healed from the burns. Detective Drake shows up and asks the group all kinds of questions about what happened here. Jacquelyn tells them "Woman's Intuition, not to mention the screaming could be heard from the festival.
Its's 10:30 p.m. when all of the questions from Detective Drake are finished, the group is anxious to get back to the festival for the costume party and contest. They get back to the party and begin dancing and laughing when Ethan sees Daphne walk up to them. He turns and smiles at her costume. He tells her he absolutely loves it and asks her to dance, she agrees and they begin dancing. She is dressed as Little Bo Peep, who lost her sheep. The group continue to have fun, but it is interrupted by Ben's parents calling out to him. He turns and sees two oddly eclectic dressed men with them (think Bram Stroker's Dracula, with Gary Oldman, the grey suit with a top hat.) One in a grey suit and shades the other in a black suit with shades. The group gets a strange feeling off of the men. Ben's parents tell him he has to come home for a family discussion. He eventually gives in when he looks up at one of the men, who was looking down over the top of his shades, he sees solid red eyes. Ben gets a little unnerved by them as he gets into the escalade.
While Ethan and Daphne dance, Eric decides to call it a night and heads home. He begins walking to his apartment when he gets the feeling he is being followed, but at the moment he could care less because he's lost in deep thought about Victoria. The rest of the group enjoy their evening. On the way back to Ben's house there is nothing but silence and smiles.
Elsewhere, Dante can be seen chained up in a basement. He tries to break his chains but to no avail. He quits moving so much to stop the pain in his wrist. He calls out "Hello, is there any one there?" No one replies back. The shows credits begin to roll across the screen as it ends.
Hope you enjoy this episode! Seran

"And so it Begins" Written by Rick McCandless
Benjamin sat quietly in the escalade until they returned home. No one said a word during the trip. The two strangers sat in the back seat with Benjamin. He looked up at the review mirror, and saw one of the two staring back at him. The strange man was still wearing the dark sunglasses. He nodded at Ben through the mirror and smiled slightly. Ben felt a chill run down his back. If the smile was meant to be reassuring, it failed. It just made the man spooky.
Once the vehicle came to a stop, Benjamin opened the door and began to get out. A strong hand gripped his arm stopping him, "Patience Benjamin. Wait for your chair. It would be a shame if you fell and re-injured you arm or leg." The spooky man's odd European accent did little to quell his uneasiness about the man, and neither did the man's iron grip on his left arm. The other strange man, quietly got out of the truck and quickly got the back of the vehicle to retrieve Benjamin's wheelchair. He brought it to Ben, and both men helped him into the chair. Ben drove the chair up to the house and through the door his dad was holding open for him. Everyone headed for the living room.
"OK. We are home. What is this about?"
Benjamin's parents looked at the two strange men. Mr. Spooky broke the silence, "This? Why this is about your future Benjamin."
"My future?"
"Yes. You have a very important decision to make."
"Decision? Look. Who are you guys?"
Both strange men looked at each other and then to Benjamin's parents. His father shook his head no. Mr. Spooky sigh, then turned back to Ben, "Distant relatives of a sort. We are here to assist you in your decision."
"Of a sort? What decision?"
Mr. Spooky's voice sounded like he was talking to a small child, "Your family has provided you with many, many opportunities Benjamin. The upcoming decision is another such opportunity. One that will affect the rest of your life."
"I get it. It's an important decision. Now for the love of God, what decision!"
Mr. Spooky smirked. He looked like he was enjoying this. The bastard. Finally the silent stranger spoke up, "Stop toying with the boy Lucerik. We did not come this far just for you to enjoy yourself."
Mr. Spooky turned to look at the other strange man. The silent man met Mr. Spooky's gaze without flinching. Even though both men still wore sunglasses, Benjamin was sure there were visual daggers flying between the two men. The silent man stood up, "Benjamin, please excuse Luserik's game. He can be troublesome at times, but he is telling you the truth. You do face a life changing decision."
Benjamin began to speak, but was silenced by silent man's raised hand, "I am sure you have heard of the Skull and Bones Society or the Bildenburg Group. Organizations that spread influence and help shape the future of the world, yes? Your family's heritage has gained you entry into two different but similar organizations. The decision you face is simply which one you will join."
Benjamin sat speechless for a moment. He looked at his parents, and then back to the strange men, "That's it? That's the decision. Which secret society? I haven't even turned 21 yet and you're wanting to know what secret society I want to join?" Ben turned to his parents; "You pulled me away from the Hallowed Moon Festival and my friends for this?"
Ben's father spoke up, "Ben, calm down. I know this seems strange, but this really is important. Your mother and I would not have done this if it weren't. These men came along way just to speak to you. Now you're going to listen to them."
Benjamin cast a defiant look at his father, and the two locked eyes.
"Benjamin, please." His mother spoke. At that he sighed and relented, "OK, I'll listen."
The silent man spoke, "Excellent. My name is Beylo. I represent one of these organizations, and Lucerik represents the other organization. The fact that you are approaching your 21st birthday is precisely why we are here. You see, this decision must be made at midnight on your 21st birthday. If my math is correct, and it is, your 21st birthday is in 6 months. Your future is closer than you think. Over the next 6 months Lucerik and I will give you the information you need to make this decision."
"6 months? You can't be serious."
Luceric smiled, "Quite serious."
Benjamin sighed and lowered his head to his hand.

Dante's Predicament Written by Ron McNiel
The room is cold and dark, on the far wall, several objects hang some look like they come from a land far away. Near the ceiling is a small opening that leads to the outside world. From what his eyes could make out, it must be night time.
"Man, how long have I been out?" Dante asks himself. He begins to look around the room for any signs of other people who may be there. When he realizes that he is alone, he begins to grow uneasy. His mind begins to clear out from the cob webs he sustained from the blow that was delivered from behind. This is when he realizes that he is chained up in some dark room. He calls out for help but silence is the only thing he hears besides his heart beating as it pulses through his body.
"Why does this always happen to me?" He tells himself as he tries to work free from the chains that have bound him. He continues to struggle as he looks up to the ceiling to see if he is only locked up by a hook that he could possibly break free from. When he realizes that its very secure waves of anger begin to swell up in his veins. He continues on with his conversation to himself.
How could I have fallen for such a fake line! Hi, this is Sarah and I believe that I may have a possible lead about Father McMurtry... Yeah right. Then when I get there she begins by telling me how much she really likes me, kinda leads me on to the fact she was truly in love with me. When I reject her she hits me in the head knocking me unconscious only to wake up here in a cold and dark room, Chained Up!
Not to mention that mask hanging on the opposite wall in front of me, keeps giving me the evil eye. Kinda makes me believe its some kind of guardian or something. Man, all of this weirdness is unnerving. Well I guess, "Welcome to Ravenwood, the hot spot for weirdness and crazy women!"
Dante continues to struggle with the chains, flexing his muscles, forcefully jerking on them, trying to break them free. The moonlight shines through the small window in the corner of the room adding a slight glow into the room. For some strange reason he feels nothing but peace as the light shines through.
What could this sudden feeling of peace mean? Why do I feel relaxed and at ease all of the sudden?
Dante asks himself as he slows his breathing down trying to make his rapid heart beat more slowly. He closes his eyes and begins to recite the Lord's Prayer.
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. [For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.]
Man, I feel much better now thanks to the Lord. I don't understand what's going on and why I'm having these dreams and nightmares of war. What is God's plan for me?
These words echo through out the lonesome room. Dante gets a sudden urge to try and break free from the chains again, as blood slowly runs down his arms from the chafing of the wrist locks and shackles. He continues jerking on the chains.
Greeaat! Way to go Dante now you've gone and made your arms bleed. The more I struggle the looser I think it gets from the ceiling. Maybe if I tried to lift my entire body off the ground that the weight alone will break me free from the ceiling.
He uses his legs and begins to swing back an forwards pulling his legs up to the ceiling pushing on it trying to break free. Unsuccessful, his legs swing back down to the ground with a loud thud.
He does it more several more times unsuccessful. Rage washes over him as his anger gets the best of him again. Under his breath he says "Dammit!" as he continues to struggle with the locks on his wrist.
Every vein in his pale arms shine through with his muscles flexing, intensifying and showing their definition. His arms begin to shake as he pulls his arms apart, struggling to keep his language in check. His eyes and head begin to hurt as he intensifies. He begins to see faint traces of bright energy flowing through his veins.
What the hell is that? I've never seen anything like this before. How strange and what's happening to me?
Dante asks out loud as he doubles up in a agonizing pain. He raises his head up and looks to the sky covered by the roof of the room. His eyes begin to glow with a bright energy for only a brief second. Then with a loud grunt, "ARGH!!!" as he jerks his arms apart completely snapping the chains from his wrist. He falls to his knees in pain as he balls up in to a tight ball. The pain courses through his body for what seem like hours.
In a shaky voice.
What's happening to me? Was I imagining all of this, a creation of my mind, I suppose. But my arms aren't even cut up, must be my imagination.
He says as he walks up some stairs leading to a door. He checks the door and its locked. Dante jerks on the doorknob breaking it free relatively easy. He slowly walks through it on his guard awaiting for another attack. He makes it through the abandoned house and out of the front door to where his motorcycle was still parked. He was not far from his place so he heads home, trying to figure out what the heck happened and if he had a guardian angel helping him. Seran

What Dreams May Come Written by Rick McCandless
Benjamin stumbled through the house. It was dark, but he could still see for the most part. He could make out images, but not fine details. He was in the hallway by the front door. Ben flipped the light switch, but nothing happened. Hello? Mom, Dad? Kaylee, Matt?" No answer. A heavy silence filled the house finally to be broken by the sound of wind rushing in through an open window. Ben walked into the living room to the open window and looked outside. Even though it was dark outside, he could still see fairly well. The wind was whipping about the back yard. He could see some of the pool furniture being tossed around by the strong wind. Ben closed the window and tried the lamp. Nothing.
"I guess the wind took out the power." He thought. Ben picked up the phone. It too was dead. He pulled out his cell, but it had no signal. "What the hell is going on?" Ben headed for the kitchen. Once there he opened the pantry and got the flashlight his Mom stored there. He clicked it on, but no light appeared. "Perfect, just perfect."
He heard a noise coming from his Dad's office. Ben paused for a moment. Was it a burglar? Should he leave and go for help? What if it was Kaylee or Matt? The last thought decided his action. Ben reached out and wrapped his hand around the handle of a French chef's knife sitting in wooden holder. He slowly and quietly pulled the knife free. Ben then began to quietly make his way to his Dad's office. He went into the living room and into the hallway leading to the office. Once he entered the hallway, he could make out the noise better. Someone was talking. No, several people were talking, but in a language Ben did not understand.
Ben kept moving slowly and quietly to the door. He could see a light coming from under the door to the office. He watched for a moment. As different voices spoke, the light would change colors from red to a silver-blue color. Ben was unsure how long he listened to the voices and watched the light. He willed his legs forward to the door. He reached out his left hand to the doorknob holding the knife in his right hand. He readied himself and slowly turned the doorknob. The voices got louder and the light began to change in rapid succession.
Ben paused, "OK. This is crazy. A sane person would get out of the house. This is how kids my age die in movies." He thought to himself. "Right, lets do this." Ben told himself. He flung the door open and burst into the room. Save for the furniture, the room was empty. No one was there. The light and voices were coming from a large mirror hanging on the wall. Ben's heart was racing now. He knew there was something about that mirror that was important, but he could not remember it. The voices and lights from the mirror filled the room. Ben cautiously approached the mirror. He saw his reflection in the mirror, and yet at the same time it was not him.
Ben sat up with a fright in bed. His heart was still racing, "A dream. A crazy dream."
A voice answered from somewhere in Ben's room, "I would not be so quick to call your dream crazy."
Ben was so startled by the voice, he all but fell out of his bed. He quickly turned his head to find Lucerik and Beylo sitting in chairs watching him. Both were still dressed in the same odd fashions and still wearing sunglasses. Lucerik sat with his legs crossed and elbow resting on the char arms. His hands clasped in front of him. He had the same irritating smirk on his face. Beylo on the other hand, appeared to the reading a leather bound book and paying little attention to Ben. He looked up from his book, "Ah, Benjamin. You are awake. Good."
"What are you two doing in my room?"
"Why, watching you of course." Lucerik answered.
"Watching me? How long hav…, Get out!"
Beylo closed his book and stood up, "Come along Lucerik, Let the boy get dressed."
"But of course." Lucerick rose and gave Ben a mocking bow, "It's a beautiful day outside, it would be a shame to sleep it away." Both men left the room.
Ben sat quietly in his bed for a few minutes. He looked out the window and saw the sun rising. He thought about going back to bed, but the memory of the dream changed his mind. Sighing, he threw off the covers and climbed out of bed. He pulled on a shirt and headed out of his room. He made his way down stairs and into the kitchen. His parents were already eating breakfast.
His Dad looked up, "You're up early."
His Mom spoke, "How did you sleep?"
"Had an odd dream. When I woke up Spooky and Spookier were in my room watching me."
His parents looked at each other. Ben could clearly see his mother was not happy about this. His Dad put a reassuring hand on her arm, "Ben, I know this must be strange to you.."
"Dad, they were in my room!"
"I know son, but you have to trust your Mother and I. We would never let anyone in this house that would hurt you."
Ben tried to think of a reply, but none was to be found. Ben's Dad got up and hugged Ben, "Hang in there." His Dad kissed his mom, picked up a briefcase and headed to the garage. His mother looked him for moment, kissed him on the head, and placed a plate with a freshly toasted English muffin on in front of him. She then headed back to their bedroom upstairs.
Ben looked at the muffin. Sighing, he put some and butter and jelly on it and took a bite. He then remembered the mirror. He walked to his Dad's office, opened the door and walked in. He walked up to the mirror and saw his reflection. "Ugh, bed head." He thought.
"Now what is it about this mirror?"
"That is an interesting question."
Benjamin jumped. He turned to see Lucerik and Beylo sitting in chairs and watching him. "How did I not see them?" He thought to himself?
Lucerik smirked. Beylo closed his book and pulled a pocket watch out of his vest pocket. Checking the time, he returned it to his pocket and looked up, "Shall we begin?"
End of scene.

The show opens with Angelica in her dorm room laying down. The lights are off and she has the windows covered with a thick blanket. For the last week she has been dealing with a migraine that will not cease to hurt her. She has taken Advil, Motrin, Exedrin and many other pills to try and soothe her headache. She just relaxes in her room and waits for it to go away. One night she falls asleep after a long grueling day of school and her migraine. As she lays there sleeping, she begins to toss and turn beginning to sweat profusely. Her eyes twitch as she drifts further into dreamland or is it something more?
It's been a week of peace and quite for our Group. There has not been any unusual activity since the fall festival. Each member of the group continue to live their lives as expected. Ben's been dealing with the news that has just been laid on him. With the newest members of his "family" staying at his house, this has been most un-nerving for him. From the strange outfits straight down to the weird accents. Life has truly taken a turn for him.
In secret, Marc has been diligently scouring the internet and various occult books trying to decipher this new realness of the supernatural. With the past weeks, this has become a slight obsession of his. This isn't the only thing Marc has been doing, he has also been in contact with some of his friends that help him organize races. They plan on setting up a race in the near future.
Dante has not been getting much sleep either. He has been having cryptic dreams. It all started after he was free from his predicament. In one such dream it was a dream within a dream. In the dream Dante was sleeping and dreaming, but wasn't able to wake up. He couldn't get out of the dream he tried screaming out and even trying to wake himself up, but to no avail. Within the first dream his second dream came proving his being trapped in the dream. He got really scared and tried to wake up in real time which he was successful several moments later. He awoke sweating and breathing heavily. He didn't remember what exactly he was dreaming about and what scared him so much. He just remembered being scared and trapped.
Jason has been so focused on the up coming tournament that he hasn't had much time to think about anything other than his school work. After each day of school he would go to his Sensei's dojo and train.
The past weeks have been hell on Jacquelyn. Not only has she been taking care of her mother she has been working to jobs and going to school. Stressed out she has taken up smoking. One night she was standing outside of her house smoking when she could swear she heard her father's voice trying to talk to her. Upset, she believes that all of the work she has been maintaining has pushed her to the edge of craziness. She decides to quit her job at the Blue Whale and cut back her hours at The Hole to focus on her school work and mother sitting. She has compte plated seeing a Psychiatrist.
Ethan has been spending more and more time with Daphne as the two get closer and their relationship develops further. He maintains his typical good (great) grades in school. Lets face it when he's not with her he's studying. He has been trying to block out the past couple of weeks dealing with the whole new supernatural world. This only last for a few moments at a time, because he is constantly looking at ways to debunk it and prove that the results are just the effects of people who are trying to purposely mess with people's minds.
Eric has been spending a lot of time in seclusion working on his songs and the music. He's been jotting down various title tracks for his new CD to be released when he receives a phone call from Victoria. She calls inviting him to a collaboration of music with her new band mates. He tells her he'll join in and was wondering if she would ever call him again. She tells him to meet her at The Hole in a hour. He agrees and packs up his music and songs with his guitar.
During her sleep, Angelica begins to receive a vision or is it a dream? With her tossing and turning, she begins to hear chanting in unison. She grabs her head to try and ease the painful vision. In the vision she sees five familiar faces performing some demonic ritual. The five kids sit in a circle around a symbol painted on the ground with candles place in specific spots of the symbol. The chanting reaches a numbing sound causing the candles being used to flare up in streams of fire. The fire is controlled but the kids all lay their heads back revealing glowing eyes. At that moment, Angelica raises up rapidly out of her bed and calls the group. She asks them to meet her at her dorm, that it was an emergency.
Moments pass and the entire group arrives at Angelica's dorm. Once in side, she begins to tell them about the dream she had and how it was actually a different feeling than a dream. She describes the above scene to them and tells them she thinks she knows who the people were in it. This prompts Marc to pull out his laptop and pull of the college site. He clicks on the link that leads to the classmates of the college for the past two years. The list he pulls up is a enormous list so he narrows his search down by the year. Once he gets to the year 2008-2009 he pulls up the classmates that are on the page. She immediately recognizes at least four from her "vision." She points out David McAllen, Jerry O'Brien, Brenda Hampshire and Lisa Page. They are all in the Latin Club and the Chess Club. The last one she has a hard time trying to remember the fine details (Maryland Michaels).
When the group finish searching over the list they set plans in motion to follow each of the students and keep track of what it is they are messing with. Daphne receives a phone call on her cell and we she accepts she leaves the room. A few moments pass and she comes back into the room telling everyone that something has come up at home that she has to go deal with, you know how family can be at times. Ethan kisses her and walks her outside. When she leaves he teams up with Dante to try and find some of the kids in the dream.
Outside the dorm room they are walking as they make their plans when Ethan notices David McAllen walking with a arm full of books. He gets an idea that will help him get in with the kids and prevent them from performing the ritual. As he prepares his plan he notices that two Jocks begin to pick on David by knocking his books out of his arms. Ethan runs up to intervene. He starts to help David pick up his books when he notices that one of them is about Demonology. Ethan doesn't let on that he knows what type of book it is. As he stands up with David the Jocks turn to him and starts messing with him, too. He smarts of to one of the Jocks who in retaliation punches Ethan in the jaw. Ethan drops to his knees which gets Dante's attention. Dante runs up and starts in with the Jocks and a fight breaks out. Ben watches shaking his head.
The fight doesn't take long as Dante clearly gives them a run for their money.
Dante gets grabbed by one of the Jocks who plan on picking him up and slamming him down on the ground very forcibly. Ethan grabs the thickest book David has and uses it to block another incoming punch. With sure luck (Drama Point), Ethan uses the book successfully blocking the Jock's punch ending with the Jock breaking his wrist. This gets the attention of the other Jock man handling Dante, he releases his grip and goes to his friend's aid. The two make threats as they leave the three (Dante, David and Ethan) alone. Ben continues watching and laughs at the arrogance of Ethan and Dante after the fight.
When all is said and done David freaks out and starts saying over and over that Ethan has just made it worse for him and to leave him alone. Persistently, Ethan keeps trying to get David to let his guard down and mention something about the ritual they are supposed to be doing, but to no avail.
During the fray, Marc walks outside and sees the fight take place, he immediately calls Jason their friend in martial arts. Jason arrives to late and ask Dante and Ethan about what they were doing trying to fight some of the College Football team. A few choice words are exchanged as Ethan begins to follow David to the Historic building where the Latin Club meets regularly, Dante and Ben close behind him keeping an eye out for the Jocks to return. Ethan thinks that he could get in with the ritual group because he's in the same Latin class as they are.
Meanwhile, Jacquelyn and Angelica go to look for Brenda and Lisa. They find them at the library in the Historic Building. The group runs into each other as they spy on the group from Angelica's dream. Angelica sees Ethan enter into the library following David, with Dante close behind them. Jason and Marc follow the Jocks that just attacked Ethan. It leads them to the Frat house that the football players stay in. They head to the Chess Club meeting place after the Jocks lead them to a dead end. Once there, Jason and Marc sees Jerry O'Brien playing chess with another student. They are competing pretty intensely. Marc moves closer and watches the moves being made so that he could use them later when he tries to get in with Jerry. They watch him for a few moments, but the silence is broken when two different Jocks walk up and tilt the chess table over in the middle of the game. The Jocks laugh as they walk off. Jerry stands up shaking his head and saying "soon." Marc and Jason turn the table back over and Marc takes the opportunity to use his photographic memory and set the table back up exactly how it was when the Jocks knocked it over. A few moments pass when Jerry gets a call on his cell phone, he packs up the chess board and pieces and heads off. Jason and Marc follow him from a distance. He leads them to the Historic Building.
When everyone arrives at the Historic Building the group see those from Angelica's dream sitting with a very beautiful blonde woman. They look like they are discussing some very important information. The beautiful woman hands Jerry a contract to look over. He glances over it and gives back to her. With her disapproval she packs the paperwork up into a briefcase and starts to leave. Dante, Ethan and Ben see the beautiful woman pass by them as they approach the elevators. The guys go all googly eyed over the sheer beauty that just passed them in the hallways. Ben makes a joke about following a lead, which was the woman that just left them all without breath.
Eric arrives at The Hole. Not many people are there but he reluctantly enters to the sound of a haunting tone. He sees Victoria doing some Mic. checks with her beautiful voice. She realizes that Eric is there and she calls him over to the stage. When he arrives at the stage she starts to introduce her new band. He offers a hand of friendship to the others. He asks Victoria if he could talk to her in private for just a few moments. She agrees. The two begin talking and Eric brings up her friend with the knack for Roleplaying. She tells him that he is no longer a threat and Eric could relax now. Eric relieved as he hug Victoria. They all play a few songs and then begins to discuss the collaboration of Eric and her. Its plain to see that Eric is memorized by Victoria. The afternoon is spent with them working together on a few different songs and collaborations. Until Eric receives a phone call from Dante.
Back at the library in the Historic Building, the group watch in the distance keeping a vigilant eye out for the strangeness of the group in the dream. Jerry notices that Angelica has been starring at him and slightly laughs when Angelica tries to hide it with her book upside down. Moments pass and the dream group gets up and heads into another room. Jacquelyn arrives at the building outside and makes plans to go in but only after she has a smoke, a habit she picked up shortly after the strangeness that has taken place.
While outside she sees a woman dressed in a Victorian out fit walk up from out of nowhere. Jacquelyn keeps watching her as she approaches the doors, which she walks through. Jacquelyn begins to shake her head thinking she is hallucinating again. Jacquelyn begins to walk through the doors, once she gets through them she'll see the Victorian woman turn and walk through some bookshelves. She immediately begins to rub her eyes. She takes a step outside again and lights up another cigarette.
At The Hole, Eric goes and tells Victoria that he had to call it a day because some of his friends needed his help. She totally understands and tells him that they will meet again real soon. That it would be different than before. The whole time Eric was there he felt an uneasiness as he felt like someone was watching him in the distance. He gets outside and looks around for an unseen assailant but sees nothing and gets into his Range Rover. He sits in the driver seat for at least five minutes before he starts the engine and leaves. He drives off and Victoria watches from the Hole's front door. As he pulls up to a stop light he turns to the right and swears up and down that he sees Violet standing there watching him. As a car turns the corner in front of him there is no signs of her anywhere. He asks himself "Is this a dream?"
Ethan realizes that he has to do something quick when David and his friends left the room to head somewhere else for the supposed ritual Angelica dreamed about. He looks around the room and then at them leaving. This is when he notices the fire alarm. He runs over to it and pulls the lever down releasing the showers of water down into the room. The people in the library begin to scuttle about and panic as they run out the doors.
With the fire alarms going off Ben looks at Ethan and declares that his wheel chair is electric. So with this being said Ethan apologizes and Dante grabs Ben up and throws him over his shoulder and heads for the stairs since the elevators are shut down. Jason and Marc grab Ben's wheelchair and carry it down the stairs. Angelica gives Ethan the evil eye as she follows after Ben and the others. Ethan shrugs his shoulders and states "well at least the ritual is being put on hold...." as he takes off after her.
Outside, the groups gets out and Jason sits Ben's chair down. Ben wobbles over to it and gets in it. He has a frustrated look on his face as he looks over at Ethan as he comes through the doors. Angelica grabs a handful of her hair and rings it out. She looks over at her friends in disappointment. "As if my headache wasn't bad enough.." is all she says. Dante looks around for any signs of their would-be ritualist. He doesn't see them anywhere. The group continues to look around at all of the people outside and still coming through the doors. In the distance within the crowd they all see what they think is Violet. Dante says "No way" as he looks at Ben. The crowd fill out of the building blocking their sight. When it clears up Violet is no where to be seen.
The show ends with Eric pulling up outside of the building. He sees everyone that was in it standing around outside. He comes to a stop hearing the fire alarms wailing and sees Jacquelyn standing amongst the crowd. He shakes his head and pulls away. Ethan throws up his arms waving at him to stop, but Eric keeps driving as fire trucks, ambulances and squad cars come pulling up to the building. To Be continued.
